Jen did things just a little different...with a black and white wedding dress.

This is one of my favorite shots of Jen - and I was just testing exposure! She just has the most infectious smile!

One of the things I noticed about them during their engagement shoot is that you just can't keep these two away from each other. Their first glance consisted mostly of this:

Laughing and kissing, kissing and laughing. What more do you need on your wedding day?
They even tried to do them both at once.

Laughing.

Kissing.

I suppose some wedding purists might claim you need a ceremony on your wedding day. I suppose they're probably right. And luckily, there was one!
Al just cannot WAIT to be married to Jen.

And oh, my gosh, I love this shot my sister grabbed of Jen and her grandpa.

Jen gets silly when she gets nervous.
Evidence:

Wait, back up. Someone in that picture looks familiar....
It's Darbi G.! She was friends with Jen in high school and recommended me to Jen. Thanks, Darbi!

YES! Jen totally spiked* the camera in the shot above. Too awesome.
*I learned the term "spike the camera" when I was helping my buddy Dan of Skyline Entertainment Productions out with some films he was working on...I was told it meant to look directly at the camera (when you're not supposed to). However, I just Googled it, and I see no references to spiking the camera made anywhere...so I think Dan just made it up.**
**Never mind, I found it. His integrity is saved.

And you may kiss the bride.

WAIT. It's not that time yet! You guys cheated! And you know it!

After their mid-event kiss, they did a sand ceremony with Jen's son, Zander.

Okay, NOW can he kiss the bride?

NO! YOU GUYS!! COME ON! There's still stuff to say!

Okay.
NOW.

Yes, that's right...there were no less than three kisses during their ceremony. I told you they couldn't stop making out! :)
Yay!!! You're official!

Let's go take some pictures to celebrate!
It's hard to look manly in purple, but these guys pull it off, don't you think?

While we were away, Zander found something. Some things. Some very small things. Some things that some people might call snails.

Sadly, his very mean mommy did not let him keep them in his pocket.
We made a quick stop to the bar where Al and Jen met.

Then it was back to the (huge, luxury) bus and onto the reception!

Love the details of their wedding. The cake especially! [I also love the bokeh on these shots :)].

Al had these lemon bars as his groom's cake - his favorite! I love personal touches like that. And can you imagine how long it took someone to hand-paint all the Ms on those chocolates??

It only makes sense that we acknowledge their hard work with a ring shot.

After everyone was done eating, it was time for the toasts.

Followed by their love-filled first dance.

The tossin'!

And the dancin' the night away!

The last thing I caught before I left was Al's brother serenading the couple. The whole wedding party got in on it!

You guys were SO MUCH FUN and I'm so glad I got to do three shoots with you! :)
