I got to the church (Faith Westwood in Omaha) and immediately loved her dress. Big and fluffy and SO wedding!
(P.S. Ignore the oversharpening on these pics...I messed up when I was exporting them!)

Can't you see the little flower girl's head filling with dreams of her own wedding someday? She was enthralled by Kali's "princess" dress!

A last minute fluff later...can you believe all those layers??

Ceremony time! I love this pic of G.C. telling the ring bearer where to go.

THEY DID IT!! YAY!
Now off to the park for some pictures!

How handsome do the guys look??

Hmmm...the girls might beat them!

And as always...we kicked the wedding party out to get some pictures of the new Mr. and Mrs. Allen.

I'm not joking...Kali is about the cutest thing EVER.

Doesn't her smile just light up her whole face??

We got to the reception site - a darling, homey little place called Karen's Fireside in Papillion - so sweet!

There was a bit of a break between the ceremony and reception, and we got to the reception hall early when the only other people there were some of her relatives doing some last-minute decorating.
Did I say decorating? I meant dancing.

Finally....the couple of the hour arrived! Hour?? DAY!!

There were toasts...

There was tossing....

And there was dancing.

Ohhhhh yes, there was dancing!

And oh, yes! I almost forgot the cutest part of the whole day! Okay, not THE cutest part...but a part that was darn cute.
Kali is a teacher, and her class put together a book of advice for her.
"Don't argue with your husband. Men are always right. Just kidding!" and "GC, always give Mrs. Allen professional massages after work."

"Help GC with the yard work or he'll come in sweaty and tired. Also, root for Ohio State!!!" and "Don't be mean to your husband."

This one's awesome for the postscript: "Try to make the best decision for a new backyard for Ketta. P.S. Don't go overboard for a new backyard like my parents." Aren't you dying to know what a third-grader thinks is overboard for a backyard?? And "Don't make your new wife do all or most of the work. You do most of the work and she do some of the work." Love it! Where is this kid to tell my husband that? :)

And this one I loved for the awesome wedding dress. I have a feeling this child has a future on Project Runway.

Of course I had to get some ring shots with these.

And you know me and ring shots...so of course that wasn't all I got.

Kali and GC - thanks so much for letting me shoot your wedding! And I can't wait for our next shoot in seven months! (wink, wink!)
