I got to Holy Cross church just in time to get a few last-minute getting ready pictures of Sarah and some AMAZING bridal portraits.
These girls were watching me through the door as I shot some detail pictures. Precious!

Love love love love love!!

Okay, there are seriously about eight million bridal portraits. I don't know how I'm going to narrow it down. Maybe I won't. Maybe I'll post them all!

Swoon.

Sigh.

Ahhhhhhh.

How amazing is her hair? PERFECT for the 50's birdcage veil and tea-length dress that she's rocking.

And then it was time for the ceremony. I love this silhouette of Sarah and her dad waiting at the back of the church.

Check out her little adorable flowergirl, Nora....admittedly, I'm biased because she's my good friend's daughter. :)

After the ceremony, Sarah and Zach and I headed out for some pictures. I love it when couples schedule this kind of time for pictures. Love it. Love it. LOVE IT!
This was on the stairs leading up to their reception site...which I'll talk about more later, because it was awesome.

Yes!

YES!

Aren't they darling? Couldn't you look at pictures of them ALL DAY? Okay, maybe that's just me, but man, I love that couple!
After that picture-fest (with a quick stop at Blue for some sushi - THANKS ZACH!!), we headed back to the reception.
The details were awesome!

Someone produced this awesome pair of glasses, so it was imperative that each member of Sarah's bridal party take a picture with them.

Some toasts by the lovely maid of honor and best man (he was lovely too).

Sarah and Zach tried to do the cake cutting with forks, but luckily someone stepped in and made them do it with their hands like the rest of us civilized people.

Yay, first dance time!

A super tender father-daughter dance...

Are you completely entranced by this beautiful reception location yet?? I was! It took place at Sirens, a salon in a loft at the Old Market. I love the exposed walls and rough wooden floor.
They make a great background for bouquet tosses. :)

These guys were READY for the garter toss!

Sarah was just about the nicest, most delighted bride I've ever met.
Seriously!

I had so much fun at this wedding - even more so since I knew her family! I can't wait until they make lots and lots of beautiful babies. Get to it, kids!
I'll close with some dancing pictures...these make me want to get up and dance!

LOVE the shot of her laying on the bench. It's so retro and beautiful.
Where did they hold their reception at? I love it!
