The first wedding I ever shot as a professional was at Bellevue Berry Farm, and this fall I was so excited to return there for the wedding for Brittian and Breanna. They are a super down-to-earth, fun loving couple, and their wedding reflected that at every turn.
I love dangly, sparkly earrings with a bare neck on a bride. So elegant, especially when paired with a stunning orchid.
First glance...and lots of love.
I love this picture of the wedding party waiting to go down the aisle.
This type of relaxed, non-traditional ceremony is my FAVORITE. You can shoot from behind and get the bride and groom's faces...
From the side...
From the front...
Kids + Bubbles = Super Cute Pics. Always!
For anyone planning a wedding, here's a hint: lights in the background make gorgeous first dance pictures!
Smoke courtesy of a smoke machine (see: fun!).
Whenever the bride and groom are down, I love borrowing them for a few minutes at twilight to get some beautiful shots of them.
On the way out, heading to the car to go home, I turned around and HAD to get out my camera stuff despite the fact I'd just packed it all up....to get this shot.

Lara...your photography is stunning! Do you work weddings alone, or do you have a partner? (I am trying to break into the photography biz, too!) Also, did you shadow other photographers at weddings to get your feet wet first, or did you just dive right in?
